FAQS

  • Does Elevate Dance Conservatory provide any scholarship opportunities for tuition?

  • What exactly will the trainee receive after completion of the 2 year training program?

    • Upon the completion of the program, dancers will have obtained 2 years of real-world experience on their resume in their preferred track AND assistance from their faculty in their next step in their career, for example, getting hired in their next role, applying to any higher educational institutes or guidance on how to start their own business.

  • What makes this program any different from going to college and/or being a dance major (other than obtaining a degree?) Are there any major differences?

    • This is an exploratory program that’s cheaper than college. Most high school graduates aren’t sure what they want to do and this is an opportunity to try out different career paths within the dance industry without the major financial commitment of a 4-year college. Our “graduates” of the program will leave with 2 years of real-world experience on their resume, which is currently more important to businesses than degrees.* This program can also help a dancer decide what major or career they’d like to focus on.

    • Some students take a year or two off traveling before they commit to college so we’re another route for students to explore all the other opportunities in and out of the dance world.

Facts:

Let’s face it, a 4 year degree just isn’t the same as it once was.

“Between 2020 and 2030, US Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that about 60% of new jobs in the economy will be in occupations that don’t typically require an associate’s, bachelor’s, or graduate degree..”*
