HOW WE ELEVATE

  • Education & Mentorship: Training in various dance techniques & curricula focusing on careers on-and-off stage. Mentorship throughout the program with an industry professional.

  • Exploration: Delve into the different career opportunities with real-life experiences through partnerships with Elevate Dance Company and industry opportunities.

  • Collaboration: Fostering a supportive community that encourages collaboration and growth for dancers that want move forward but don't know which direction to take or how.

trainee program

Each dancer in our trainee program will get a custom curriculum and get connected with an industry mentor that will lean into the dancer’s interests and natural talents. Throughout the program, our faculty and mentor will continually guide the dancer’s track and explore all the different avenues in the industry, not just being a professional dancer.

Program tracks (ages 16+)

  • Dance Performance (camera/stage/concert)

  • Choreography & Dance Instruction

  • Performance Marketing & Media (video & photography)

  • Event Promotion

  • Stage Direction & Design

  • Artistic & Creative Direction

  • Business Administration (Artistic Direction, Studio Owner/Operations)

ANNUAL TUITION - IN-PERSON

  • IN-PERSON 2 Year Commitment: $23,500 ($11,750 per year)

    • Monthly Payment plans available: $980 per mo (for 24 months)

  • IN-PERSON 12 month commitment: $12,750

    • Monthly Payment plans available: $1,062.50 per mo (for 12 months)

  • Includes: training, performance costs only

ANNUAL TUITION - VIRTUAL

  • VIRTUAL/PART-TIME 2 Year Commitment: $11,750

    • Monthly Payment plans available: $490 per mo (for 24 months)

  • VIRTUAL/PART-TIME 12 month commitment: $6,375

    • Monthly Payment plans available: $532 per mo (for 12 months)

  • This is a part-time commitment and training will be customized to fit around trainee’s schedule (work, school, other commitments, etc.)

  • Does Not Include: Performance costs, travel for performance or event opportunities

AFTER THE PROGRAM

At the end of the Program, trainee’s will be guided into their next role in their desired track. Our faculty’s aim is to set our trainees up for success with an opportunity to continue their journey.

Our graduated trainees will earn:

  • Career mapping and opportunities

  • Assistance in placement in their next career step

  • A digital portfolio of professional work

  • Real-world experience to add to their professional resume

  • LinkedIn presence and expanded network

For example, those dancers on the Business Administration track will receive experience as a Business Administration Associate* or those in an Art Direction track will receive experience as an Art Director’s Assistant*, etc.

WHY WE DO This

OUR MISSION is to provide young adults another career option in the world of dance and the performing arts by providing an educational and hands-on experience on and off the stage.

We will guide each individual to their strengths and find their place in the Arts & Entertainment field.

Elevate strives to bridge the financial and diversity gap set by the traditional dance world by giving all people the opportunity to develop skills and experience to be disruptors through their craft.

Our faculty is a revolving staff of industry professionals ranging from work experience in Los Angeles, San Francisco, NYC, Las Vegas, and more. Trainees will be taught by masters in their craft and have one-on-one mentorships.
